ABOUT

“The Blue Fox” is an anime (Japanese animation) inspired performance that invites the audience to embark on a wondrous journey and, in a light-hearted and safe manner, to explore what lies in the shadows of longing. It is a story that will allow you to experience a world full of surprises and follow the heroes' journeys toward self-discovery. Fourteen-year-old Anna has a precious keepsake – a walnut. It reminds her of the times when she and her best friend Nathan fantasized about various unbelievable worlds and adventures. The pain of loss is immense when one day Nathan disappears. Now an adult, Anna no longer believes in miracles, but unexpectedly, she is given the chance to unravel her experiences by embarking on an incredible journey. She travels to the Land of Seven Winds, where ominous gods guard great secrets, the Forest has a thousand eyes, and shadows roam under the watchful gaze of the Blue Fox. Jonas Tertelis is a Lithuanian director who works with collectively created stories. They never fail to engage through the interplay of form and content. The production of “The Blue Fox” will feature illustrations specially created by Reinis Petersons.
