Please take into consideration the rules of The Dailes Theatre in order to make the visit pleasant for you and fellow spectators!
Before the performance
We kindly ask all spectators to arrive at the Theatre on time since all the performances will begin precisely at the time mentioned on your ticket; entering the hall after the third bell is prohibited.
The first bell rings 15 minutes before the beginning of the Large Hall performance, consequently the second bell – 10 minutes and the third bell – 5 minutes before it.
The main Theatre entrance is open for spectators 1 hour before the beginning of a performance.
There is a public cafe available before the performance and during the intermission. To reserve a table at the cafe please call +371 29672149 or write an e-mail to info@cafe15.lv.
You can leave your coats at the cloak room on the ground floor of the Theatre. Theatre administration does not take any responsibility for the personal belongings left at the cloak room. In case of a lost cloak room number you must pay a fine of EUR 10.
The performance programmes are available for purchase at the entrance to the halls as well as in the lobby on the ground floor. They will be available before the performance and during the intermission. Payment possible only in cash.
If you would like us to give your flowers or gifts for the artists, you can leave them on the table next to the stand where performance programmes are sold. Please leave also a card with artist’s name. Your flowers will be handed over to the artists on stage straight after the performance; your gifts we’ll give them a little later after the performance. You may also give flowers and gifts to artists yourself after the performance on stage. Flowers and gifts for artists of guest performances you should give to them personally.
Performances at the Dailes Theatre take place in three venues – the Large Hall, the Small Hall and the Chamber Hall. To find the needed hall please follow signs or ask the front of house staff to help you.
No food or drink is allowed in the halls.
Persons under visible influence of alcohol and/or drugs may not be allowed into the hall.
Smoking is prohibited in the premises of the Dailes Theatre.
It is prohibited to bring pets into the premises of the Dailes Theatre. For bringing Support Dogs into the theatre, please notify the administration beforehand.
Purchased tickets are non-returnable and non-changable (except cases when the show has been cancelled or its date has been changed).
The purchased ticket must be with you until the end of the show. Front of house staff has rights to ask for it at any time.
During the performance
Please turn off your mobile phones and other devices during the performance. The sound and light created by them disturb artists and other spectators. Even when the sound is turned off, your phone may harm the quality of the performance.
Photography, video and audio recording is allowed only with permission of the Theatre administration.
During the intermission
The time when the instermission will begin is shown on a special clock. For the Large Hall performances this clock is located next to the cloak room in the lobby, for Small Hall and Chamber Hall performances – at the entrance of each hall.
If you want to shortly leave premises of the Theatre during an intermission, please take the Intermission ticket and return it to the front of house staff when coming back.
